Maintenance Supervisor

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the development and implementation of a preventative maintenance program.  He/she will ensure the optimal use of manufacturing equipment and be responsible for the building maintenance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop a preventative maintenance program
  • Establish preventative maintenance schedules for different equipment
  • Evaluate the priorities of the equipment maintenance
  • Plan different projects with external sources while respecting production schedules
  • Coordinate and supervise different projects
  • Oversee the building maintenance and improvement
  • Monitor inventory control
  • Oversee the consolidation of two plants

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Equivalent, combined with 5-7 years experience in plant and machinery maintenance, preferably within the aerospace industry.  He/she must have specific experience working with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.  Supervisory experience and bilingualism are required.
