- Ensures that programs meet their efficient materials, labor and equipment in order to reach production objectives
- Establishes the manufacturing schedules for the Operations, Methods Development and Quality departments
- Provides the relevant raw material requirements needed by the Procurement Group
- Makes sure inventory procedures are followed
- Coordinates schedule changes with all company customers
- Responsible for scheduling priorities and outside processes calendar, with the support of the purchasing group
- Controls the shop capacity level and provides a set of key performance indicators
- Keeps the system accurately updated with "promise dates"
- Ensures manufacturing operations are properly clocked in and out
- Produces pertinent activity reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Administration (with Production and Operations Management), Industrial Engineering or Equivalent, combined with 7-10 years of experience in Production Planning. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and scheduling models is essential. Supervisory experience and bilingualism are also required.
