Project Engineer

Reporting to the Director of Projects and Engineering, the Project Engineer will be involved in improving technology by modifying existing equipment, and overseeing the installation of new machinery and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meets objectives set for desired levels of production, scheduling and costs.
• Calculates simple estimates, analyzes actual needs, submits requisition forms for the purchase of new equipment, supervises on-site installations and controls the costs of projects.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment and will be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. French (oral and written) is a necessity; bilingualism would be considered an asset.
