Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning and coordinating the plant’s electrical engineering activities (estimates, justifications, planning, preparing quotes, buying, budgeting, conformities).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the efficiency of the plant’s automated systems (programming, inter-system links, resource people, etc.).
• Organizes the electrical engineering document management.
• Assists the electrical superintendent with various plant equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automated Production with a minimum of 1 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment and will be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. Knowledge of MS Office is a necessity for this position and knowledge of AutoCad, AutoMet, Bailey (Network 90 or Infi 90) would be considered an asset. A mastery of French (oral and written) is also a necessity, along with a working knowledge of English.
