In
1983, Alan Davis created a human resources consultancy
specializing in the electronics industry, under the
name of Selectronics Recruitment Inc. After working
at various recruitment agencies, and seeing the traditional
model of the relationship between recruitment firm and
client, he was convinced that there was a better way
of doing things. The years since have justified his
belief.
Today, with a diversified
client base, the company operates under the name Alan
Davis & Associates Inc. The company has its office
in Hudson, Quebec, with a staff of 23 carefully-selected
managers, recruiters, researchers and support staff.
Now with over 70 clients
in a wide variety of industries, the company is an internationally-recognized
leader in the recruitment and selection of executives,
managers and highly-skilled specialists on behalf of
quality-oriented customers both large and small.

In 2005, we became a member firm of the prestigious Cornerstone International Group, one of the world's largest management consulting firms with over 100 offices located in key markets on the 6 primary continents. Our staff
of 23 includes executives, managers, researchers, recruiters
and support staff. Incredibly, our combined research
and recruiting experience is over 76 years! All researchers
and recruiters are trained in Alan Davis' unique methods,
utilizing a structured professional process. A sense
of humour is shared by all employees; it is one of our
hiring criteria. Everyone is highly skilled at multi-tasking.
They have to be - our matrix management system utilizing
virtual teams is ideal to rapidly serve the needs of
our clients, but it's not easy. All our staff have to
be team players, and they are. There is no room in our
organization for a 'star' mentality. And, all our staff
are superb communicators. We communicate constantly
in order to stay on top of an extraordinary amount of
data. Most importantly, our staff are all client focused
